Certification

Upon successful completion of a course, the participant will be awarded an attendance/performance certificate. 

Courses require about 40 or 90 hours of work, corresponding, respectively, to short courses (4 weeks’ length, 1.5 ECTS* ) or long courses (7 weeks’ length, 3  ECTS).

At the completion of a number of courses amounting to 15 ECTS the participant can be awarded, upon request, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage from the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Università della Svizzera italiana, USI. 

It is foreseen in the future that a Diploma of Advanced Studies will be awarded to participants who successfully complete a number of courses amounting to 30 ECTS.

* 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) corresponds to an average of 25-30 hours of study commitment (including class attendance, homework and projects). A participant is required to spend an average of 8-9 hours of study per week for successfully accomplishing a 1.5 ECTS course, and an average of 11-12 hours of study per week for accomplishing a 3 ECTS course.
